[Throwback Video] Nigeria Customs Automates Excise Trade with Blockchain Technology

The Assistant Comptroller General of Customs at Nigeria Customs Service, Aber Benjamin says the move to adopt Blockchain Technology is aimed at automating its excise trade and improving its overall performance. He discussed this and more with CNBC Africa’s Esther Awoniyi. However, the conversation took place in September, 2018. This apparently puts Nigeria Customs Service among the first Customs Parastatals to utilize the Blockchain Technology.
