Nigeria’s Blockchain association, Stakeholders in Blockchain Association of Nigeria (SiBAN) is holding its foremost meet-up in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Per an online conversation with an eBlockbuzz representative on July 30, the SiBAN President, Paul Ezeafulukwe revealed that the meetup is billed to bring about;
-Connections for participatory ,productive and profitable collaboration in the Nigerian Blockchain Ecosystem;
-Sensitization of immediate support and easy access to SiBAN Partner exchange listing by the biggest exchanges in Ecosystem
– Sensitization of the core values and objectives of SiBAN.
– Technical and Collaborative support from SiBAN on projects that have real use cases and capacity to build to scale
– Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Awareness, exposing career opportunities in the Blockchain Industry
According to the SiBAN website, the association was created to promote blockchain education and adoption in Nigeria; self-regulate the blockchain and cryptocurrency space for consumer protection and investor confidence in the country; and champion blockchain advocacy, regulations, and reforms towards ensuring that both private and public sectors.
The Port Harcourt meet-up however will reinforce the core objectives of SiBAN as various Blockchain Starups and industry leaders within and outside Port Harcourt are being invited to attend.
“The SiBAN meetup will be replicated in other Nigerian states,” reiterates Paul.
