OneBlock2020, a start-up platform aimed at connecting of Blockchain developers across Africa with the intention to train and encourage developers to begin to look into Blockchain, will be organizing a conference in February, 2020, on the 20th & 21st, in Kano – Nigeria.
The announcement was released yesterday on AmbCrypto.
A lot of startups are springing up from the continent but with very few developers to maintain the newly developed solutions across various Blockchain platforms that support DApps.
The OneBlock2020 conference will be an avenue for young developers to learn and see the possibilities of diving deeper into this ecosystem and to also connect with experts in DApps, Industry, sharing insights and exploring new opportunities.
Over 1,000 experts from Digital Asset Management, Exchanges, Investment Banks, hedge funds, Legal Advocates, Mobile Payments, developers and Regulatory bodies will be expected to participate at the conference.
Invitation to the conference is open and attendance is free as the aim of the conference is to encourage participation from across the country and the continent. It is hoped that this step, will ensure the conference achieves great participation and maximum impact.
Attendees at the conference will be exposed to, Blockchain developers who will connect with recruiters, incubators, crypto startups, established companies and institutions, in Nigeria and beyond.
Industry experts, looking to raise more Blockchain developers in Nigeria and Africa will be present. The aim is to target and partner those that can confidently work on any blockchain platforms and deploy smart contracts for industrial use.
Finally, there will be the entrepreneurs, to help DApps developers think local solutions with global impact.
It is also expected that a campaign tagged will be launched “OneBlockDeveloper” at the conference.
